The Islamic University—renowned for quality education, now in its 17th year of operation and having graduated 13 cohorts—invites all high school graduates wishing to pursue university-level studies to benefit from its high-quality academic programs, delivered by professors with profound expertise in their respective fields.
The Islamic University comprises five faculties:
1. Faculty of Sharia, featuring specializations in:
a) Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence);
b) The Book and Sunnah;
c) Hadith and its sciences;
d) The Quran and its sciences.
2. Faculty of Education, featuring specializations in:
a) Science (Mathematics/Physics, Biology/Chemistry);
b) Social Sciences (Geography and History);
c) Arabic Language.
3. Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, featuring specializations in:
a) Economics;
b) Business Administration;
c) Accounting;
d) Islamic Banking.
4. Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, featuring specializations in:
a) Computer Science;
b) Information Technology (IT). The university also offers a distance learning program designed for working students and those residing in various regions of the country or abroad.
Furthermore, the Islamic University provides a postgraduate studies division for university graduates. The university offers Master’s degree programs in the following specializations:
1. Arabic Language,
2. Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Usul al-Fiqh),
3. Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh),
4. Hadith and its Sciences, and
5. Education (Curriculum and Teaching Methods).
The Islamic University informs all prospective Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students that registration for the 2016–2017 academic year is currently underway at the university’s campuses, located at: the Industrial Road (behind IVECO), KM4 (opposite the former 21-October School), and Dharkenley (near Khalil Mosque). Registration hours are from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. The administration of Al-Nur Institute—affiliated with the Islamic University—also notifies all interested students that registration for the institute is taking place at the same Islamic University campuses.
