The public defense of a doctoral dissertation in Arabic Language, submitted by student Naima Yusuf Ahmed, was held at the Islamic University in Somalia. The dissertation is titled:
\n“Literary Texts in Defense of the Prophet (peace be upon him) during the Meccan Period: An Analytical Study.”<\/div>\n
\nThe event was attended by university professors, graduate students, and distinguished guests.
\nThe examination and defense committee consisted of:
\n– Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Tahir Awais (Supervisor and Chair)
\n– Dr. Mukhtar Sheikh Mahmoud Tuwairi (Co-supervisor)
\n– Dr. Ahmed Moallim Musa (Examiner\/Committee Member)
\n– Dr. Ali Mohamed Hussein (Examiner\/Committee Member)<\/div>\n
\nFollowing deliberation and the defense, the committee recommended accepting the dissertation and awarding the student a PhD in Arabic Language with a grade of “Excellent,” subject to making certain necessary corrections.<\/div>\n
